Baby Naming / Bris Circumcision Ceremony

There are few joys greater than welcoming a new child into the world. The Brit Milah (for boys) and Baby naming ceremony (for girls) gives families, friends and the entire community the opportunity to celebrate the new life. It is also an important event in marking the entrance into covenant with God and the Jewish people.

Our community delights in the birth of each baby in the Jewish community. We will facilitate, arrange, assist and familiarize the family with the entire process of Brit Milah and can help organize the ceremony from start to finish.

Bar & Bat Mitzvah Celebrations in the Cayman Islands.

“Son or daughter of the commandment,” Bar/Bat Mitzvah is the process of being recognized as an adult in the eyes of the Jewish community.

At the age of thirteen for a boy and twelve for a girl, young people become responsible for the Mitzvot.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation focuses on Hebrew skills, Jewish Holidays and life cycle knowledge, Jewish History and what it means to be a proud Jew in today's society. These fundamentals are essential for a child to fully participate in adult Jewish life.

Classes are taught by Rabbi Berel and Rebbetzin Rikal.

Contact Rabbi Pewzner to start planning the celebration.
