Keeping Kosher in Cayman is really a pleasure!
There is quite a large variety of Kosher food products to be found in local supermarkets, being that a large selection of major US brand foods are Kosher by default and the majority of food products in Grand Cayman are imported from the States.
Foster’s Food Fair, Kirk Market and Hurley’s are some of the main shops in Grand Cayman, they all carry lots of Kosher products. Cost U Less is a discount wholesaler (similar to Costco) where you can purchase Kosher Fish, Bagels and other products in bulk.
Foster’s at Camana Bay (in the heart of Seven Mile Beach corridor) carries Glatt Kosher Cold Cuts and Agri Star Chicken, along with Kedem Grape Juice and lots of other Kosher staples.
Other kosher products are available at the large supermarkets, but they will most likely not be Cholov Yisroel, Pas Yisroel or Bishul Yisroel.
Ready Made Meals
There is no Kosher caterer, Restaurant or food service in the Cayman Islands at the present time.
The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman has a supply of Ready made Kosher Meals from Sterling Kosher Caterer’s in Miami (under Hashgacha of the OK)
Hotel Guests can order these meals to dine in at the Ritz Carlton, orders should be made in advance directly from the hotel.
The Westin also carries Frozen Kosher meals.
Chabad Cayman places Kosher food orders from Miami and you can request to include some items not readily available on the island.
Please be advised that food items are a lot more expensive than in the States. Due to the nature of the island, many food items are seasonal and cannot consistently be found in local groceries.
Please note that all supermarkets in Cayman are closed on Sunday’s.
Kosher wines
“The Tasting Room” Wine Shoppe carries a wide variety fine Kosher Wines including Mevushal Wines, it is located in “Caribbean Plaza” on West Bay Rd.
